As many of you know, I’ve been living with long COVID since November 2021. It’s been a long, difficult road—filled with setbacks, treatments, and the hard reality of having to rebuild my life in a completely new way.
Before I got sick, I was a NICU nurse. I loved that work with all my heart, but for now, it’s out of reach. I’ve been searching for ways to contribute, express myself, and support myself within the limits of my health. Photography has always been one of my creative joys, and I’m excited to try sharing it in a new way.
As part of this journey, I’ll also be using my photography to share some of the deeper lessons I’ve learned through illness—about slowness, surrender, trust, and noticing beauty in unexpected places. I hope these reflections can bring encouragement, comfort, or simply a moment of stillness to your day.
Through this Patreon, I’ll be offering:
- Monthly postcards or greeting cards with my original photography
- Eventually adding:
- Beautiful prints and calendars
- Behind-the-scenes peeks, photo tips, life lessons, and more
I’m starting slow—finding a pace I can manage while still creating things I love. To be honest, asking for financial support is very uncomfortable for me — but I’m doing my best to find sustainable ways to support myself within the limitations of my condition. Whether you’re just following along, or you join as a patron—thank you. You are part of God’s provision and encouragement during this difficult season.
Right now, most membership tiers include the same core benefits:
- Monthly updates and reflections from my photography and health journey
- A monthly postcard featuring one of my original photo prints
For those in tiers of $25 or more, you’ll also receive:
- One 5×7 print each season (four per year)
As my capacity allows, I’m planning to add more value to higher tiers — including special perks, framed prints, calendars, and photography tips and tricks. I’ll keep you updated as new things become available!
